My research develops and applies methods in causal inference, Bayesian statistics, decision modeling, and reinforcement learning to support better decision-making in health and public policy. I work at the intersection of statistics, computer science, and health policy, with applications to emergency department operations, suicide prevention, and precision medicine. I am an NIMH T32 Predoctoral Research Fellow in Comparative Effectiveness Research for Suicide Prevention at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
I also care deeply about teaching—I have been very fortunate to work with many students at Harvard, The University of Chicago, and New Haven Public Schools during my time as a Teach For America corps member.
